Lighting of the Park December 1st

The Greenview Park Committee, led by Trustee Taya Smith, kicked off the holidays with the annual Lighting of the Park. The crowd was welcomed by Village President Kevin Curry, and the lights turned on by Greenview Citizen of the Year Sara Killebrew.
New this year, lights line the shelter roof and the Christmas tree is on the stage under the shelter.
Additional thanks to the Park Committee, Danielle Morrow, Kyle Smith for erecting the lights on the shelter, and Karissa Carls for donating the Christmas tree.
Trey Castles Appointed to Village Board

Trey Castles has been appointed to fill the remaining term of former Village Board Trustee Norm Hofmann. Castles was sworn in at the November 18th meeting by Village President Kevin Curry. Trey will serve as chair of the Zoning committee, Streets, Sidewalks & Drains and a member of the Water committee.

Greenview Water Department gets new service truck

The Village of Greenview Water Department is excited to introduce our new service truck! This purchase was increases the efficency of our maintenance and water departments. Prior to this purchase, both the maintenance and water departments shared one vehicle which resulted in longer wait times for service calls and repairs. Another issue the employees faced was having to use a personal vehicle to complete work related tasks when the service truck was already in use. The Village of Greenview President, Board of Trustees and staff are happy to alleviate this problem to be able to assist residents in a more timely manner.
Sara Killebrew Named 2024 Greenview Citizen of the Year

"Bloom where you're planted" is Sara Killebrew's motto - and she has certainly done it. Sara was named 2024 Greenview Citizen of the Year at the Monday, August 19th meeting of the Village Board. Sara is such a positive influence and has enhanced the lives of many residents in Greenview by going above and beyond in her community service that will have lasting impacts for years to come.
Special Use Permit Public Meeting Results

Welcome Rachel Henderson, Greenview Village Clerk

Rachel Henderson was sworn in as the Greenview Village Clerk at the Village Board meeting on Monday, July 10, 2023. Rachel attended Lincoln College and her professional experience is in banking. She makes her home in Greenview with her family. The Clerk will be in the office 5 days a week-Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Tree/Bush Removal

Village maintenance crews will pick up and dispose of branches and limbs that have fallen or broken due to natural occurrences (storm damage). Disposal of tree limbs, branches or bushes that are intentionally cut or removed are the responsibility of the property owner. If you need assistance, please contact Village Hall.
