Public Information Request

A FOIA request can be made for any Village record, except personnel files and 8 other types of information. The FOIA does not require the Village to create new records or to conduct research, analyze data, or answer questions when responding to requests.

All requests must be made in writing.

Make your request as specific as possible - naming the description of the records requested.

The request must include your name, address, phone number and email.

Note whether the request is for copy or inspection.

Note whether the information is to be provided electronically (email) or printed.

There is no charge for up to 50 pages. After 50 pages, there is a $0.10 charge per page.

FOIA requests will be fulfilled in the order in which they are received.

Submit the request to the Clerk at Greenview's City Hall in person or by mail.
