Water Rate Increase

The Village of Greenview works diligently to hold costs down for customers.  However, due to fuel surcharges, the costs of providing clean drinking water and maintaining the wells, pumps, tower, and lines, it is necessary to create water use categories and increase rates. The new rates will be reflected on August 2022 billing.

RESIDENTIAL                                             NEW RATE
(0-1000 gallons)

Base Rate                                                       $20.00

Maintenance Fee                                          $15.00

Price per 1000 gallons over base               $ 6.50 per every 1000 gallons used over base

OUT OF TOWN RESIDENTIAL                    NEW RATE
(0-1000 gallons)

Base Rate                                                      $40

Maintenance Fee                                          $30

1000+ gallons                                               $13 per every 1000 gallons over base

 

COMMERCIAL                                                                         NEW RATE
(Average usage under 4000 gallons/month)

Base Rate                                                                                    $20

Maintenance Fee                                                                       $15

1000+ gallons over base                                                          $ 7.50 per each 1000 gallons over base

INDUSTRIAL                                                                        NEW RATE
(Average usage over 4000 gallons per month)

Base Rate                                                                                   $40

Maintenance Fee                                                                       $30

1000+ gallons over base                                                          $ 7.50 per each 1000 gallons over base
