Playground Equipment Update

The Park Committee has reached and surpassed the goal of $18,100. The equipment has been purchased and any further donations will go towards ground cover and new equipment to replace older, outdated pieces.  The committee wants to thank all of the local supporters along with the business and corporate supporters for donating to make this a success. The equipment should arrive around the middle of September. The committee has decided to ask for volunteers to install the playground equipment with the assistance of a supervisor. This will save the committee over $5000 to have it installed, which will be used for other park improvements. When a installation date becomes set, more information will be released to ask for and get volunteers in order to assist in the installation, which will take two days over a weekend.  The committee will provide, lunch, dinner (if needed), snacks and drinks for all of the volunteers.
